Hi

I have just recorded over 9 hours of wave as when someone pulled the powercord.
When I now want to open met 5.5 GB tmp file soundforge 6 reports that the file cant be opened and that it might be corrupted.

Please tell me theres a way I can fix this file!!!!

Can you open it as RAW from within Sound Forge? Turn your speakers down before doing this ... there may be a burst of "static" at the very beginning.

DO NOT "Cancel" out of the crash recovery box in Sound Forge or it will delete the .tmp file. First go to the temp directory and rename it to something other than .tmp. Then try to open it as raw.
