Renumbering Markers

Is there any way to change the number on a marker flag once it has been placed on the timeline? ie- The numbers are assigned chronologically has they are assigned regardless where the are physically positioned on the timeline. I want to renumber the flag numbers to be in numerically order across the timeline from left to right.

You can right-click on the marker and select rename then enter whatever you want, but I don't think there is a way to change the number that is in the marker.

burchis, what do yopu want to achieve . .let's do it that way round . .maybe there is another way of doing what you want through Edit Detail view .. yeah?
