I just got around to downloading the 4f update. The .exe file defaults to

C:\Program Files\Sonic Foundry Setup\ACID 4.0

Seems I should change that to something like?

C:\Program Files\Sony\ACID 4.0f

NO! For the version that started out as Sonic Foundry, you should keep them in the Sonic Foundry folder. This is very important to keep all your plug-ins working properly. When a new major version comes out (i.e., version 5.0) then it will switch to the Sony folder. This is how Vegas worked. All of Vegas 4.0 versions went into the Sonic Foundry folder (even though the last one was a Sony logo) and then with version 5.0 the Sony folder was used.
