Subject:Creating a CD with various tracks from ONE big mix

Hi folks!

I have some mixes done with ACID, around 70 min. each and containing about 10 tracks or so. I want to burn my own CDs with various tracks, i.e. to have the chance of adding some kind of markers so that the mix will be divided into tracks after burning it to a CD.

How can I do this?
Many thanks in advance,

Nelson

I think your going to need something like CD Architect.

I think you need CD Arhitect for this.

You can burn a CD in a couple of ways using just ACID, but it'd be Track-at-Once (or TAO) only, which means a prerequisite 2-second gap of silence will be between each track.

You can burn on a project-by-project basis by just opening each project and burning accordingly. Don't use the "close disc when done burning" option until you're on your last project.

If you had one big mix you'd like to separate into tracks, start a new ACID project, bring in your long mix, place markers or regions where you'd like to create a track, then place the Loop Region where you'd like to burn as a track and use the "burn loop region only" option when burning. (You can double-click to quickly set the Loop Region over an area between two markers.)

Note that TAO again applies; there will be a 2-second gap between tracks. If you wanted Disc-at-Once burning (which provides no gaps between track changes), you'll have to look elsewhere for now, like CD Architect or Vegas.

maybe im not understanding the problem right, but if youre asking what i think youre asking then why dont you just render each track to a file using the loop region render tool and then burn them with a regular cd burning device?

He could, but he could also do what I specified earlier if he doesn't have another app that can do CD burning.
