Can you export a whole Acid Pro 4 project straight into Vegas 5.0? I know you can send "loops" from Acid to Vegas but can you export so the whole project just turns up in Vegas 5.0 in all the same positions etc? Vegas 5.0 seems cool for editing as Acid seems to be stuck at 4.0f with NO signs of 5.0! Any news on the 5.0 front? |

No, Vegas 5 has no knowledge of ACID projects. You can export each track as a wave file and reassemble the tracks by hand in Vegas but that’s as good as it gets. There have been some rumblings about ACID 5 here on the forum but no “official” news. We can only assume it’s under development. ;-) ~jr |

Use File>Render As with the "save each track as a separate file" option checked. Then import into Vegas. No new news on the ACID 5.0 front, but as Joel and Peter mentioned, it is being developed. Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page Guitars 4 Kids |

it would be nice if acid could work within vegas as a rewire "slave/master" within vegas since you wouldn't have to be making changes to individual tracks within acid & re-rendering every time you wanted to make some minor change in a sequence. |
