I'm setting up my daughter's computer with Screenblast Acid. As you know, SBA can play MIDI files, but it cannot create or edit them. My daughter's only 11, so I really don't want to put Logic or some other monster program on her computer. Can anyone recommend a CHEAP midi sequencer that works with SBA and allows for editing with notation, not just a piano roll. She doesn't need to be able to professionally print the notation, just view it on screen and edit it. |

Music Creator 2003 from Cakewalk? It goes for $50 or so. Be aware of the learning curve for the program (which may not be bad, especially if your daughter has a grasp on MIDI). HTH, Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page Guitars 4 Kids |
