Subject:Scripting sounforge?

Hi, I have Reason 2.5 and soundforge 7 (and acid and vegas for that matter). I have a few refills that are samples used accross all keys in the range. Ideally, these would have separate samples for each key or small set of keys. So when you play a lower note, the sample pitch shifts but duration isnt maintained and for samples with periodic components, these components are slowed down for low notes, and sped up for high notes. What i'd like to be able to do, is take these samples and map them over say 2 octaves, pitch shift them in soundforge but retain the duration so the periodic components match up at all note values. But, i really dont want to have to do this by hand for every sample (i have litterally about 2000 of them i'd like to do this for). So, does anyone know of a way to do this in soundforge (or any other product for that matter?) Or if i'm just missing something in Reason and you know what it is, let me know or just tell me to go ask elsewhere. thanks steve |
