Subject:playing past 5 or 6min?

I'm making this nice song and for some reason when it gets around 5 or 6 min into the song it stops play back? Is this happening with anyone else? I have the newest build. Maybe a setting is wrong or something? I'd appreciate anyones help.

I used to get this problem, but don't remember the last time it happened. I think it seemed to happen most when I had a lot of heavily chopped tracks and fx and made me start mixing chopped tracks to give the cpu some time to think.

Haven't seen it, but I haven't gone over max of maybe 10 loops/tracks and a handful of effects tops. I've done stuff out to 13+ mins with no problems with versions up to 4.0f.

hmmmmm maybe it's because I'm using 5 audio buses with different effect on each?

It could be, though I suspect the plugins on the busses, rather than the busses themselves. I run 4 or 5 busses routinely on ACID. Try bypassing the fx on the groups to see if that works. If it does, you might want to try soloing the offending buss then mixing it down (with the fx applied - it will normally work fine by itself due to a lower cpu load), then run the mix thru the master and mute out the buss.

my first guess would have to be ,,(buffers and or latency) have you tried adjusting these in your sound card control panel or in Acid? on average I run about 30-40 tracks with fx ,envelopes,rewire, acid is stable,, when and if I do have any sort of stuttering or stoping problems,,adjusting my sound card latency solved the problem,,,, you didn't mention your computer specs,,,, your ram and cpu speed have a major influence on how acid performs,,( when files are large)
