Is this possible at all in Acid? I want to gradual accel from 60 to 120 bpm but I don't know how to do it. I have midi file programed to do it but Acid's main tempo bar isn't following those instructions when I load the midi as a track. It picks the first tempo of the midi and does that the whole time. How do I get it to gradually speed up or slow down? (or perhaps follow the midi file's events?)

I don’t believe there is any way to automatically do it. I would drop a bunch of tempo changes at regular intervals (i.e., going from 60, 70, 80, 90bpm, etc.) and see if it speeds up smoothly enough for you. If not, start inserting 65, 75, 85, etc.

Also, ACID ignores MIDI tempo entirely so it doesn’t care what tempo information is in the MIDI file, it always uses the tempo of the project.
