i got acapella of a song and i want to match the instrumental and the acapella so it doesnt sound weird. do u understand? its really had to explain. i just need to know how to match the beat with the acapella so it sounds perfect. help me

Does the a capella track follow strict time? (In other words, does it stray from tempo?)

There's an easy way of determining tempo if so.

Assuming a measure of music in the sample follows common time (4/4), use the following formula:

240 / (number of seconds for one measure) = tempo

So, if one measure is exactly 2 seconds long:

240 / 2 = 120 BPM

You can import the a capella track as a One-shot to ensure no stretching is done to the track. You may also need to line the track up. To do so, turn off snapping by toggling with F8.
