Ok. I dont know any thing about Acid Pro. I mean 0%. But i want to make a remix of a song. All i want to do is change the beat of a song (beat= u know, the music in the background). Basically i want the singer to be singing and have a different song's beat in the background. I have heard a lot of songs with different beats (from original) but i dont know how they do that. Can someone please help me. Last time i posted my message here and some one replied that this question shouldn't be posted here. So please help me. Feel free to contact me at usman152008@yahoo.com. pLEASE. asap.

"Ok. I dont know any thing about Acid Pro. I mean 0%."

First, try reading the manual.
Then people will be happier to help out if they know you've put in SOMEKIND of effort.

I'm afraid you're going to be disappointed. Acapellas are songs sung without background instruments. It looks like you want to rip the vocal track from a song containing an instrumental background right ? You just can't do this with Acid. Sorry, but that's all there is to it.

Why don't you try loading a desired song as a beatmapped track, then try to find some bass/drum loops that might go well with it?
Try loading the song you want first into an audio editor, and lower the bass/drum frequencies.
Then import that into Acid and add the bass/drums.

If your still around, I have a suggestion for you. Go to acidplanet.com and download the free 8 pack. Listen too it then take it apart. I think it will teach you about acid.

BTW, you did purchase acid, didn't you?

oki will download that. By the way Acid is a very good program if u know every function of it. I dont mean that i dont know any thing about it. i know at least 30 percent but i just dont know how to add effects, set events, match the beat, etc. Thanks for your help anyways.
