Subject:Connection for PC

I have a Microkorg synthesizer and
i want a connection for my PC
to RECORD the sounds and use them in Acid Pro 4.0.

What sort of connection do i need?
usb-midi ?

If you want to record the sounds coming from your keyboard then you should plug the audio out of your Microkorg into the Line-In of your sound card. No need for MIDI if the korg is making the sound. Just record it as live audio.

yup...gonna have to go to Radio Shack or somthing similar and get an 1/4" to 1/8" adapter.

either that or get a mixer

Or a pro-level audio interface. (The Echo MiaMIDI, for example, has 1/4" ins.)

What's your sound card?
You might need a pre-amp.
