Subject:My voice recorder doesn't work!!!!!!

I used to be able to record my voice over my fruity loops tracks on acid, but now whenever I record, the beat is being re-recorded over the voice, so the voice never makes it's own track anymore, and i need the voice to be a track by it's self so iI could edit it in soundforge later on is there anyone who knows how to solve this problem I would greatly appreciate it.

open the volume controls on your computer. click options/ properties, then adjust volume for recording. I bet mixed output is selected. It should be either line or microphone (whichever your voice is comming in at) to get it isolated in one track.
