I have recently switched from Adobe Encore to DVDA2. If I have some MPEG2 files already encoded with WAV audio can DVD architect recompress the audio to AC-3 without my splitting the audio and video files first? Also, does using AC-3, by the nature of lowering the bitrate to DVD players, tend to enhance playback performance in home DVD's? - THanks, Marc |

"does using AC-3, by the nature of lowering the bitrate to DVD players, tend to enhance playback performance in home DVD's?" NO , lpcm and ac3 are standards for dvd - as long as total combined bitrate is below max for BURNED dvd's |
