For starters, you're not telling us any information about your problem. ;-P

Apologies.

I used to be able to use Windows Media Player on my Win XP Pro pc. Since I loaded NR I can not get Windows Media Player to . . er .. play?

Hate to ask the obvious question but have you tried rebooting? I don't know why, but sometimes after working in Vegas I can't get audio to play in MP (or windows events sounds even) until I reboot. Vegas seems to hi-jack the audio card and doesn't always give it back easily.

I'd say you can probably fix this by reinstalling wmp. It sounds like a registry screw-up to me and not a common error. Unfortunately, wmp is a bit of a pain to reinstall as the only options windows gives are to remove links. You may find sites that tell you how to remove wmp, but I think your best bet is to download a full version of wmp then install it over the old version. If anyone knows a better way, please say so. I'm presuming the Noise Reduction plugin is working, btw.
