Only slightly off topic: What do I have to do to get the appropriate song titles, copyrights, etc. to show up when my CD is played on a computer? When I render my WAV files, I include this info in File/Properties, yet Windows Media Player either shows the songs as Untitled or displays some odd title from some other artist out there. How much of this information is stored inside the WAV? Is this more a reflection of the application I'm using to burn the CD? If so, any recommendations on a cheap but effective/reliable CD burning app? I'm currently using Nero 6. Obviously, by including all my info in Acid at the time I create the WAV and additional information in Nero, I'm not getting the results I desire. Thanks in advance. |

I'm no guru on the subject, but I believe that the info embedded in a WAV is only readable by the apps that can open and work with them. Your WAV files, unless burned as data files, will burn as CD audio files (or CDA). You can burn your songs as data files such as MP3 or WMA (with the appropriate app such as Nero or Windows Media Player); info such as artist, song, etc. is embedded in those formats, but the player used must be able to read that data. (Adding to that, older CD players cannot even read MP3-burned CD's let alone WMA.) Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page Guitars 4 Kids |
