Subject:NI Komplete 2 in Acid (or Reason?)

Getting close to the NI offer for ugrading from one qualifying NI product to 11 NI products, NI Komplete 2, it is tempting to find funds for this upgrade (€499).
Has anyone jumped on this offer? How well do they work/integrate with Acid? Is Reason a better choice with the Rewire integration maybe?
I have Kontakt 1.5 and I find it to be a bit unstable as a VSTi.
It is a good price for the bundle though...

Deciding, deciding...

I can't offer much help here. Ultimately, you may have to decide for yourself, as some people like NI's products, while others like Reason (and Propellerhead's other apps). Anyone?

Personally, I think that Reaktor 4 is one of he best programs ever made and is worth the price of the package just for this in my book, although it isn't the easiest thing to get your head around at first. It works fine under ACID as a VSTi, and you can use it on efect chains using a vst-dx wrapper. I use R4 mostly as a standalone app and live drumbox. I believe FM7 is also part of the bundle. This also works great in ACID and is one of the best softsynths out there. Those boys at NI really know how to put softsynths together.

I say the bundle is a bargain at that price. Can't afford it myself (boohoo) as I've just bought a TC Powercore (hooray!).

The NI stuff does work pretty well with Acid 4
I use Pro-53, FM-7, B4 and Kontakt allot
I'm not a big Reason user but it is also cool,

Your $ your call!

Maybe you'll just have to take another look at reason. acid and reason are a good combo.

I have the Reason 2.5 demo installed and have been playing a bit with it.
I very much like how Rewire integrates these two applications.
I feel VSTi is a bit cumbersome.
I haven't dived deep into Reason nirvana yet though.
We'll see. I don't think having Reason will put a suspension on creativity so maybe I just should jump on that train.
Any recommended places to buy (with international shipping)?

Lars
