I expect we will be the first to know. They usually send out an email, but the news here pops up just about as fast.

BTW, I still haved maxed out 4.0's potential.

I hear Ableton 4 is going to be released in July with VSTi support. Ableton has gone from v2 to V4 in the time that Acid has gone from 4a-BugWorld Edition to 4f-A bit buggy Edition.

Sure am looking forward to AP5

IMHO, Live has a long ways to go in terms of flexibility and usability. It still can't work with video (like MPEG, AVI, QuickTime, etc.) and it still can't work with (or even render to) other popular formats (like WMA, MP3, etc.).

That and Live's ridiculous GUI gets on my nerves. If I wanted a Willy Wonka snozzberry-like GUI, I would've asked for me.
