Subject:Restart Creative Device?

I cannot seem to get my Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum 2 to work with Acid Pro 4.0. A warning comes on when I start Acid Pro 4.0 that says ("The Creative ASIO devices have changed. You may need to restart this program before using this device") Does anyone know how to restart the Creative ASIO program?

man...how many times do we have to tell these people to NOT BUY SOUND BLASTER!!!!

at any rate, make sure you kill all programs in the background and set your ASIO to somewhere around 128ms and your bit rate to 24/96k.

see if that does it...if not, back it down to 16/44.1.....see if that helps.

The Creative ASIO errors are covered in our FAQ/Knowlege base. Do a search for ASIO.

THANK YOU, THANK you, thank YOU, thank you!!! This has been nagging me for quite a while and I was wondering how to get rid of it. I will never buy a SoundBlaster product again. I learned my lesson. Did I mention Thanks? ;-)

If you do a search of the forums here you will be shocked at the people with Sound Blaster conflicts. Stick to games for SB.
