CD Burning problem, HELP!

I have a 12 track audio project. The CD burn stalls at 10%, with the Burn Buffer indicator dropping quickly from 99% to 0%, starting around the 8% in the Burning tracks indicator.

I am getting the same problem on 2 different computers, bith with Vegas 4.0e.

The files originated in a variety od sources, some converted to .wav from PARIS 3.0, some from ACID 4.0, some extracted from CD, in Vegas.

I also tried rendering each assigned CD track separatley, to burn in NERO or Roxio Platinum. The render stalls on anything over 1:30 minutes, on both computers.

I have a tight deadline for a show in a theme park, and do not liike my growing coaster collection.

Goto OPTIONS>PREFERENCES>GENERAL tab. Check to see how much free storage space there is in the "Temporary files folder". Maybe this is low in available space or something physically wrong with the drive. Try changing this to a different hard drive or partition with more available space and see if that fixes your problem. If not, sorry for the additional coaster. :-)

I dont want to spoil the ending, but you will be looking elsewhere than Vegas' summing for any problems
