I have used some of the downloaded theme's in DVDA2.
DVDA2 reported no theme's - a problem.
After some fiddling around, I got the problem to go away, but I'm not sure exactly what caused it to go away.
The Theme editor (created by a user) does not work with all of the DVDA2 themes, but does a nice job. If you have not tried it, it is worth looking at.
I have added a great deal of resources to the buttons/backgrounds, and themes of DVDA2.
Because I am a user new to DVDA with version 2, I'm not sure how widely known it is what you can do with the themes, and how relatively easy it is to get new buttons and backgrounds (you can define as many 'background' images as you want in each theme, and as many 'next', 'prev'... as well.
I have used Pinnacle Studio and Edition, and I added all of their buttons and backgrounds (that I wanted) to DVDA2.
I also added several backgrounds from other sources as well (moving and static).
Creating only a few new themes, I added more than 200 backgrounds and buttons (navigation, and 'framed').
DVDA allows for them to all be in one theme, but I categorized them into usable chunks.
It was fairly easy to expand the choices available - but Sony could make it MUCH easier still.

Yep - Although I do have the new spec for the DVDA2 themes, and there isn't too much that's different. If time permits, I will update the program to support these - I have a 2 year old son so time does not always permit ...
Hey, where'd you get the new specs? I checked the DVDA Themes page, but it still has the old specs. Anyway I can cop the new ones?
Also (to the group), has anyone here uploaded any themes for Sony to post and have you heard anything about them going up? Seems like it's been a looooong time since they added any user-submitted themes.
