...I'm having trouble syncing ACid 4.0 and Cubase SX...as i mentined in a previous post, I have the VMR installed and followed everyones advice...the sync options are few, so I believe I'm an idiot if I can't arrange the master and slave and click the right buttons to send and recieve code...do I need 2 sound cards to sync...I use laylaand have a sound card in the pc...what's up?...thanks

Did you try this KB article? It should at least get ACID Pro set up for sync. (Use the VMR as your MIDI device for generating MTC or MIDI Clock in ACID's options.) I can't exactly help with Cubase as I don't use that app; I don't know offhand if it can slave.
