Subject:HELP! USB and sound in!!!

Do anyone knows how to get the sound from a minidisc that has a USB adaptor connected into the soundforge??? This is to get the sound digital and not anaolg....the ordinary mic analog input works, but no sound is coming in when I plug the USB device in.

I DUNNO....

transport the data as a file and then open it with in Sound Forge maybe ?

Did you select the USB device in SF's preferences? Did you have to install drivers for the USB device?

my usb minidisk uses its software to bring in the audio. It cannot be recorded via sound forge. It works ok... I bought a minidisk deck with optical out and that is what I use.
