Any way to change default envelope shapes?

I know how to change event fade shapes to default to linear, is there a way to do this for the regular envelopes?

I don't think so, this has always been an annoyance to me. There probably is a way to do it, but it's like other missing features, "write a script". Of course you'll need soom s/w writing skills, so you better start some classes in C++, HTML, and java. Once you spend all the time learning that, could you write a rewire script while you're at it?

Try this:

Click on Options > Preferences with the Shit Key depressed.
A new tab "internal" will appear.
At the bottom of the window in the 'Show only prefs conatining' type in envelope.

Experiment with different numbers in the ' envelope follow type '.
