Subject:tempo changes

alright i really have no idea how to use the lingo or anything here, but basically my question is:

i want to have a drum loop at lets say 80 bpm and ive got a sound file of someone talking that i want to import and have at its original tempo, which is like 121 bpm or something. basically, how can i do this, meaning having two separated tracks with different tempos, but have them keep those separate tempos.

If you open the properties on say the track with someone talking (double click on the header number) and set the Track type to One Shot, it will maintain whatever tempo it was recorded at. If you need it to loop, just Copy and Paste Repeat to fill the track with as many copies as you need. Do this for any track that want at a tempo other than the project tempo.
