Does anyone know if there is a function in acid that lets you collect all the the loops used on a particular song, The reason I am asking is when I am creating a song and I am using various loops that are located in all different folders on my computer. When I complete my song it takes a while to find all the loops and copy them into my song folder.

Yes...simply check the box to save all media with your project. This way, all loops used in the project will be saved [copied] to the same location as the project. (The loops still reside in their original locations as well.) The next time you open your project, it will use the loops from the one folder.

You will notice a slight increase in performance when you reopen the project, since all of the loop files are now in one nice, neat location; the app no longer needs to search the hard drive for the loop files in their various [original] locations.

Hope this helps.

Sorry...forgot to mention (guess I had one beer too many <hic>):

You will see the checkbox in the Save dialog box when you proceed to save your project.

When I first save a new song I create a folder for the acid project file and all of the loops. Every time I add new loops, etc to the project I "save as" and check the box "save loops with project" (it's something like that) so the new media (loops) will be added to the folder.

I'm not sure if I'm being clear.

Thanks this will make song writing a little easy-er. There is a similar feature in Illistrator and QuarkExpress called collect for output which gathers all your elements in your document and saves them in one folder. Imagine that, the only reason I was inquring about this function is because I use it in the graphic industry !
Thanks again!!!!
