Rendering DVD with Ulead MovieFactory and AC-3

I know this question has been beat to death but here I go anyways.

There seems to be a general consensus to render the mpeg in screenblast before going to the DVD authoring program.

It's my understanding that screenblast does not support AC-3 but MovieFactory does. Does this mean that Moviefactory is going to re-render the mpeg anyways again or is the audio track handled seperately ?

I don't think Movie Factory supports AC3. I know Ulead DVD Workshop does.

I just check Ulead's web site, and there's no mention of AC3 with Movie Factory 3.

If you DVD workshop or another DVD creation package, it should allow you to leave compliant video files alone and only re-render the AC3 audio. I know that both DVD Workshop and DVD Architect leave the video streanuntouched and create a seperate AC3 audio file.

Movie Factory 3 doesn't have AC-3 encoding, but the Disc Creator version does.
