Which formats were you looking to work with? AVI? QuickTime? MPEG? WMA? ACID Pro works with all of these (though you need to pay for the MPEG plug-in separately).

How long do you need it for. If it is a one off type thing, I typically download a trial of a product that can do it - many are full functional and just expire after a time - Vegas for instance.

If I need it again, I typically buy one of the products I tested out.
