I have been using Acid pro 3.0 for a few years with no problem. I recently installed a new hard drive and copied all files to the new bigger hard drive which I made the boot drive. I still have the other drive installed. Every program has worked without problem except for Acid which will not open. Instead i get a message saying that the application is not properly installed and for me to re-install it again. The problem, besides the obvious, is that the only version of Acid that I have is Pro 2.0 since I upgraded via download. Also since I can't open the program I can't access my license #. What can be the problem? I e-mailed tech support a week ago and have gotten no response. Hope someone here can help me get my Acid up and running again. Thanks for your help in advance. |

You need to reinstall. There is no work around for this problem. You changed your system, and the license is generated based on your system configuration. If you purchased from us on line and/or registered your license, then you can call sales or tech support and they will provide you with your serial number. Download the latest ACID Pro 3.0g update from this site. Obtain the serial number from our tech support - write it down in a safe place this time - and install. Our tech support will help you out in all of this. Peter |

yeah I had done that but it had been almost a week and I hadn't heard back from tech support yet which is why I decided to post here but I did receive the e-mail this morning and the problem is fixed now :-) |
