Subject:ACID PRO dosn't start!!!

Hi guys... i have a very huge problem.. whenever i try to run ACID PRO 4.0f .. the program simply dosn't start.... what coud it be?... any help will be great...

My computer is an Athlon XP 2000+, 160 mb ram , MSI KM2M Motherboard with Realtek AC97 audio codec and Windows Server 2003

Has it ever started? If this just started happening I believe you can hold the SHIFT key down while starting it and then will reset all the preferences to the factory defaults. It’s worth a try.

This happened to me once. Acid worked great until I did a version update, then it wouldn't start so I called the Sony Tech dept and they told me to set up another user in XP and reinstall Acid on that users profile and it worked like a charm. I don't know if this is a similar deal, but it might be a solution. luces

It's the same for ALL software. If it wont start or is corrupted in some way there is only one thing to do - reinstall.

Now some people often say "but I can't because it was a download" - well if you ever get software via download you need SAVE the download for this very reason. DO NOT install directly using OPEN. Also if you recieved your seriel number via Email, then make sure you keep that mail saved too.

Most sopftware needs reinstalling after certain system upgrades or modifications. ALSO if you are a registered user and have a seriel number you can always re-download any software from the vendors site.
