I think a set of perfs are installed with vegas 5, or isn't that what you are trying to find?

Define "not work". As in when you launch V5 your shuttle pro doesn't recognize it??? Have you tried setting up a config for it? Does it still work with V4???

Why would there need to be a V5 update to the site?? All they do is create a template that I don't even use anyway. I make my own. Try this...

1)right click on the shuttle pro icon>>>select "open control panel".
2)take the settings you used for V4 and click options>>>"change target application".
3)Find the sony Vegas folder and find the V5 .exe icon. Select that one and press ok.

Done. Everytime you open V5 your shuttle pro will now use your settings.
I was a bit simple in my explaination so if you have a problem RTFM and you should be fine.

Open the Shuttle control panel by clicking on its icon in system tray, select options>Import Settings then navigate to where Vegas 5 is installed, typically C:\program files\Sony\Vegas 5.0 , from there select the appropriate .pref file.

You will need to have installed the latest drivers from Contour, abtain these from:

www.contourdesign.com

Depending on when you bought your Shuttle this may be different to the link given on the bottom of the unit, the drivers at that site are way, way out of date.

To get it to work you have to RTFM which says read the online help and from there discover that the link to Contour is to a different site than the original support location for the ShuttlePro. Not Sony's fault in anyway but it can be mighty confusing.
My Shuttle says very clearly on the bottom of the unit: www.contouravs.com
The 'latest' drivers from there will NOT let you load the Vegas 5.0 .pref file.
You need to go to:
www.contourdesign.com

Thanks for your replies. I needed to change the target application. It was set for V4.

Sometimes the simplest answers are the hardest to find. Thanks again.
