My Sound Forge XP 4.5 was working great until I a few weeks ago...It will only record space...air...nothing...I cannot figure it out. Everything seems to be hooked up correctly and I have just downloaded SF6 and appropriate plug ins but still does the same thing. I cannot figure it out...I need this working asap! Please help! |

I would guess that somehow the input mixer settings for your sound card have been changed. Open up the sound card's mixer control panel (double click the speaker icon in the lower right corner of the screen), choose Options / Properties / Recording / OK. Make sure the correct input is selected. |

What's your soundcard/audio interface? Is it sharing resources (IRQ's) with other devices in your system? Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page Guitars 4 Kids |

What's the record meter in Sound Forge peaking at? It could be along with changing the Line Input select, that you've adjusted the input volume too high. If the meter is constantly peaking at 0dB, you have to bring the level of the Line IN fader down. |
