I have had new version for a couple of days now. I finally got a chance to play with it. I love the control and options. It seems to have addressed all the issues that were presented regarding DVDA1. It took me about an hour of playing around to figure out how it works, but now that I am getting it, it is fast, intuative and very powerful. Thank you Sony. By the way the folks at Sony are still the most responsive around. I had a minor preveiw problem with DVDA2, posted here, got an e-mail from a Sony Tech with a fix the next day.

I love DVDA2, but I'm not yet so sure about tech support.

I haven't been able to burn a DVD with either of two drives/systems, and I posted the info both here and in a message to tech support several days ago and have not yet received a response in either place.

wobblyboy:

I had what appeared to be a similar problem to yours with the Preview, but nobody contacted me. How about sharing the Good News - what was the recommendation?

I just got to dig into dvda2 since i got it friday and then went on a camping trip. It truly rocks. I don't have a project right now, but I can't wait to do some creative work with it.
Great work guys!

The preview jerkiness is a bug that wobblyboy helped us track down. It will be fixed in an upcoming release (2.0a).

In the mean time, please try to shut down any background tasks - virus checkers, etc.

Thanks
