Subject:Problem Exporting Acid Project

Hello All,
I have been having some trouble exporting "render as" with acid 4. I'll have my m ix ready to go and it sounds seemless and perfectly beatmatched. But upon being exported (regardless of if i export using wav mp3 ogg or whatever) some of the transitions are fine, but otherssound out of sync eg i can hear the baseline of one of the songs just a fraction of time after it is supposed to be even tho they are in sync and canceling each other out like they should before i export the file. This has been pretty frustrating. I have saved, rebooted, imported my exported file just to make sure it isnt an EQ issue, but alas no avail; the imported version of my exported project still has the unpleasant out of sync sound with the baseline although the original acid project doesnt.

Any Ideas?
Thanks!
-bob

Bob - One of the first things that came to mind when you said there is an undesired difference in the volume of the bass between your two projects is the "Wave Hammer" plug in. If it's compressing alot and the attack/release buttons aren't on que it can cause a consistant rise or drop of your volume at very unexpecting times. Some less noticable than others. That type of problem would also come from someone using a chorus or delay effect, again, with a few perameters slightly off. Is this 1 song (made of loops) that your trying to render or two songs mixed like for a DJ CD? If it's a song try "render to new track" before you render the entire thing.

Algorithm9-- Thanks for your input; I tried the Render to new track thing but unfortunately I am still having the same problem. THe rendered Has the problem that the normal export has been having ie the baselines are just out of sync. This is especially frustrating because the tracks above it when played are perfectly in line with the base lines cancelling each other out....grrrrrrrrrrr......you are jsut the rendered version of the above tracks, behave like them drnit!! THe project is several songs mixed together, like a Dj set. I am using no fancy plugins or anything like that, the tracks are simply beatmatched and mixed using the volume envelopes. Any other ideas? ANyone else think they can help?

If anything, check with Sony's support to see what they say. You can send them your project if you want as well (via the support link) to see if they can repro the issue.

Use the "SUPPORT>Email Support" link at the top of this page.
