Hi all I've searched for this but can't seem to find a definitive answer: I'm thinking about buying Stylus but want to know whether it's 100% compatible with Acid 4 (latest build), and whether there are any issues. I'd really appreciate it if you'd let me know about any success stories and/or nightmares! More generally, what do people think of it as a VSTi in terms of versatility, usability, sound quality, etc. From just audio demos it's very hard to gauge what Stylus would be like to work with in practice. Many thanks Ben |

Its OK It works well with Acid 4.0f I don't use the GC or Drum Loops. I use the percussions and one shots. George Ware |

Thanks George - I appreciate that. So, ok but doesn't exactly blow you away? I understand you can program the one-shots from within Stylus, is that right? Are the loops just not up to much? Thanks again Ben |

No the drums sound good, but everyone who has Stylus has the same loops. The GC (Groove Control aka Rex Files) are pretty cool. You can drag and drop the midi file on to the time line that goes with the GC loop. So when you speed up or slow down the GC loop stay with the Acid session tempo. I think Tony or Ron bought Stylus, had to have it, now they don't even use it. I just bought the DFH Superior 35Gb of drum one shots, it hasn't showed up yet. George Ware |
