Subject:I NEED HELP INSERTING MUSIC!

I am really new to this acid 4.0 and I have tried everything the help tells me to do, but all I want to do is take a media player track and put it in ACID and change it's tempo then burn the newly sped up music on a disc... Please Help me.

I take it you've already added the track to your project?

Paint the entire track's event in by holding down CTRL with the Paintbrush Tool active and click anywhere on the timeline next to the track. Change your overall project's tempo.

More than likely, your imported track is also a Beatmapped track type. Double-click the track's icon in the track list and under the General tab, select "preserve pitch when stretching".

What format is it in? AFAIK Acid only works with .wav and .mp3 files (though it can render to many different formats including .rm and .ogg, etc.)

ACID Pro can open and work with several popular media formats, including WAV and MP3 as well as Windows Media (both audio and video), AIFF, QuickTime, AVI and MPEG.
