Subject:??How to add two AC-3 clips together??

My question and problem...I hope some one knows how?

I have a licensed Dolby Digital trailer and I was going to use it as the "pre-play" of my DVD. I was also hoping to use a pre-made clip from VV and add it to the preplay (rendered into AC-3 format).

The problem: Dolby sent me a trailer that is encoded in AC-3 and I do not know how to add two AC-3 clips together. Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks!

The TSA says:

"Only one trailer per production may be used, each trailer will be used in its entirety and may not be edited in any way without prior permission of Dolby Laboratories. "

I am sure if you are putting just a "copyright" or "studio" image before
and/or after the trailer you should be okay.

What media did you order it on?

Are you using DVDA1 or the newer version DVDA2?

What you need to do is create a second VTS or timeline with your second audio clip, and set the end action of the Dolby Trailer to go straight to the second clip, and then have the end action of that point to your menu.
Also, disable any remote controls for the duration of these 2 clips so the viewer has to go through both before getting to the menu.

Don't know what DVD Authoring app you are using, but you should be able to do this with no trouble at all.

I am not a video expert by any means. I was wondering how you would do this process?

I basically wanted the Dolby trailer to be the 1st preplay segment and then after it is over, immediately go into a highlight clip of the DVD video itself. Would I be able to do this by adding the second VTS or timeline and the second audio clip? Once again, how do I do this?

Thanks!

Mark
