Subject:MainConcept in SF

I downloaded the MainConcept encoder and Sony sent me a serial #. Sound Forge no longer asks for an update and will not import an MPEG file. How/Where do I place this serial #???

What happens if you try to save an MPEG?

Hi,

I can't import one so I can't save it. If I try to import one, it says "File format not supported". I remember a few times when I first installed it, that it would ask me if I wanted to Update/Purchase the plugin.

Try opening, say, a WAV file and then try to save it as an MPEG-2 file. Sound Forge should then ask if you want to purchase. If you click the "order by phone" link, there should be a field to enter the serial into.
