UPDATE: YES YOU CAN USE YOUR CONROL SURFCAE WITH GUIRDER!!! all you do is press learn command and when its waiting for a signal, press the button on your control suface you want it to llearn! Okay, i post a while back, and i wanted to remote control acid with my new digital mixer. They said this is not possible because we were to lazy to make acid remote controlable. Well, its possible. and i did it! First download this prgram called "GIRDER" go to http://www.girder.nl/downloadn.php Second, dowload this plugin for girder. http://www.girder.nl/downloadn.php?Link=396 Third download this costom built preset for acid (made by me) http://www.freewebs.com/bs-productions/ControllingACIDPRO4.0.zip Open it up with Girder and enjoy. More: I made this to use with the remote control on my SB AUDIGY 2 platinum. This remote control, is actually a midi controller. In the tree under the ACID Pro folder are all of the remote buttons i have programmed. They are preset for a SB Remote control. Steps to get your mixer, or keyboard (This is where i need help!) to control acid. We need to modify the plugin for the SBAudigy remote, and change so we can put it , instead of a infrared port, to a midi port. anyone interested in helping me lease post. other wise just controll acid with your sb remote. Remotes that i know will work. SB Live 5.1 Platinum remote SB Audigy Platinum remote SB AUDIGY 2 platinum remote Now the controls what do what. stop/eject button on remote stops acid. play/pause button plays acid play from beginning button, plays acid from beginning. Frame forward buttion (looks like a pause symbol with a play sign next to it) Pauses acid, push it again to play acid. EAX Button, Add new VST i SynthThe one that looks like a gear, saves your acid project the one that looks like a u turn, turns looping on/off enjoy! |

If you're interested in controlling Acid with a keyboard, use Bome's: http://bome.com/midi/translator/ It allows you to turn midi messages into keystrokes. |

actually i have a yamaha midi keyboard i connecte thru my sb audigy's midi in and out. and when i said "hey said this is not possible because we were to lazy to make acid remote controlable." that was supposed to be in quotes, some one said that to me, no insult intended on my part, some one else. But yes it is semi true. maybe not lazy, but not included none the less. this is for controling acid with any creative sb remote. but the creative remote runs on midi sys exclusive messages. so if i or someone else can figure out how to get the Guirder to recieve these messages, we can control acid with a control surface or digital mixer. should not be hard to do. if anyone wants to hwlp me in my quest please post. =) |

UPDATE: Okay you can control acid with any, ANY control surface!!! Just when you record the input just press a button on your controll surface and it now works. My Tascam TM-D1000 digitsl mixer now remote controls acid!!! |
