DVDA2 problem with loading DVDA1 projects

I installed DVDA2 today, then attempted to load a project I created with DVDA1. Optimize DVD says that all of my MPEG video assets are going to be force-recompressed (a red diamond appears next to all of them), even though it reports that the files are compliant, and I can't turn this setting off for any of the MPEG assets. If I create a new project and import these same files into it, everything is copasetic.

For the record, these MPEG files were rendered with TMPGEnc Plus, using the "System (video only)" setting (creates an MPEG file with a video stream and a "dummy" audio stream). This should be the equivalent of Vegas's "DVD Architect NTSC" MPEG rendering format.

Any ideas? Guys? Sony? (Bueller? Bueller?) Re-creating all of my projects is something I obviously do NOT want to do, as I've already gone through enough time and effort to create menus and layouts that I like. DVDA2 should theoritcally be importing DVDA1 projects without complaint, and to find that it's not (for whatever reason) is rather disappointing, to say the least.

Okay, found a partial work-around. Launch DVDA2 and open the original project. Then, launch a second instance of DVDA2 and create a new project. Using the mouse, capture all of the objects on the first DVDA2, then paste them into the second DVDA2. Poof! No more problem with recompiled video. All that's left is to add back the original background image/video.

Still, though, that's no excuse for DVDA2 loading a DVDA1 project with this problem cropping up. Unless there's a setting or option or whatever kind of procedure that I can do without going through all this rigomorole, let's hope that DVDA 2.0a fixes this little bugaboo.

I'm able to reproduce this problem sometimes. We'll look into it.

Glad to know that I'm not going insane. (Well, not from *this* issue, anyway. :-)) Thanks for the prompt response! (And don't get me wrong... so far, aside from this little bugaboo, I'm having an absolute blast with DVDA2!)
