This is only greyed out in the generated media dialogs. There are a few reasons for why its greyed:

1. That dialog is derived off the timeline aware fx page
2. Generated media has NO knowlege of where the cursor is on the timeline. (i.e. the generated media timelines is a separate one than the main one)
3. Its never been ON (ungreyed) and we have given many other things higher priority.

I agree its ugly and useless. Well get around to it but it aint hurting noone.

Ivan,

Thank you for your polite reply.

"This is only greyed out in the generated media dialogs." - Yes I realise this. I've been using Vegas software for sometime now.

"1. That dialog is derived off the timeline aware fx page" - Interesting!

"2. Generated media has NO knowlege of where the cursor is on the timeline. (i.e. the generated media timelines is a separate one than the main one)" - Understood.

"3. Its never been ON (ungreyed) and we have given many other things higher priority. " This I know and Ivan, I'm only asking - yeah?

I did not make a point about the aesthetics, as you say, "I agree its ugly and useless." more than I wish that it was possible for synching text manipulations to the t/l - as with the rest of my project AND understanding as to how the rest of Vegas works - that is, it would have the same functional "logic". Nothing more nothing less - yes?

"Well get around to it but it aint hurting noone. " - Well, when your nice Mr Michael Bryant was over here in London in February, I brought this to his attention. I guess it would be really teriffic if you could have a wee chat with him? Would that be possible? I love my Vegas software and will defencd it like a jealous parent, so please take my comments in the manner I would hope you would recognise.

Thank you for taking the time to respond and look forward to your repsonses,

My very best regards to you and THE TEAM,

Grazie
