How can I electronically convert my .rm sound files to .mp3 preferrably? Or less preferrably, convert to .wmf? Thanks... |

I don't think Sound Forge has Real Media support. Licensing issues and all that. There may be another application that can convert Real Media to .mp3 ... but I don't know of one. |

SF can create and save a .rm file, but cannot open a Real Media audio file. I also don't know of any other app that can. Without a program to open the file directly, your only option is to re-record internally from your sound card's output section. Sound Blaster notates it as "Record what you hear" others refer to it as "stereo out" or "output". Double-click the speaker icon and look around under Options/Properties/Recording |
