Subject:creating a loop

In acid I extracted an audio track from cd. Then I opened sound forge and highlighted a small loop and I would like to save just the loop to use in acid. when I try to save the loop I end up with the entire audio track ?

You'll have to copy the highlighted loop out of the extracted audio into paste it into a new file. Or you could trim/crop by right clicking after highlighting the looped section.

Any way you do it, it needs to end up in it's own file.
