Subject:Using Orange Vocoder in Acid : how ?

I've got the demo version of Orange Vocoder 2.

Is it possible to make it work with the modulator on an audio track and the carrier on another track ? I'm somewhat confused.

How can I have an audio track with the carrier and a MIDI track for playing the modulator on the internal synth ?

in both cases, how do I "connect" the plug-in ?

I know Arboretum Vocoder that allows to put both signals on left/right channels; can Orange work that way also ?

Acid only supports DXi plugins. I believe Orange vocoder is VST. Wait for acid 5.

Hey guys...

1) Don't hold your breath on Vst plugin support in version 5. Just go to the cakewalk site and buy their vst-dx wrapper and have fun.

http://store.yahoo.com/cakewalkdirect/cakvstaddow.html

2) Its not DXi its just DX...DXi stands for direct X "Instrument". Like synths and such. Dx is for audio plugins like delays/chorus/etc...

HTH...
