Subject:Telephone Effect

Hey, I need an effect or process or whatever that sounds similar to that of a telephone call. I need that flatness for a vocie-over I'm going to put into Vegas. Any ideas?

Using the full version os Sound Forge? Try Process>EQ>Parametric with the "phone line effect" preset to start from there. You could chain it with a little distortion if you want some static, buzz effect to go along with it.
