Subject:Question re: Screenblast Acid and SoundForge

I just bought Screenblast Acid and I thought it was supposed to come with Screenblast SoundForge. From the manual it looks like when I install Screenblast Acid there should be an option to install SoundForge as well, but I don't get the option. Does anyone know how this is supposed to work? Should I have received a separate SoundForge disk? Thanks...

i think sound forge only comes if you purchase acid PRO, not the screenblast version. i highly recomend you getting it though sound forge studio (if thats what its still being called these days...who knows...) is the stripped down version of the full sound forge and it still works great!!!!

I don't believe Screenblast ACID or the present version of ACID Pro comes with a "lite" version of Sound Forge (whether it be Screenblast Sound Forge, Sound Forge Studio, or Sound Forge XP Studio).

I do remember a package deal that included ACID Pro 4.0 with Sound Forge Studio 6.0 awhile ago, but that was by Musician's Friend. (I don't think it's there anymore.)

Remember to always keep your eyes and ears open for deals.

Screenblast ACID comes with SB Sound Forge 1.1 (free, not SB SF 1.1 Deluxe version). It should be on the installation disk -- right on the opening splash screen or by browsing to the SF folder.

If you bought it online, the final page Order Number XXX, Order status & download had links to SB ACID and SB SF 1.1. You can also get to this page from the link on your order confirmation e-mail.

If you you lost the d/l page, get in touch with Customer Service -- I'm guessing they can send you the link.

But why not ignore all that? Here's my shameless plug: Try Screenblast Sound Forge 7a free for 30 days. Go to the d/d page and choose Trials and Demos.

Hope this helps,

Suzan

Thanks for the help. For whatever reason the option to install SB SF wasn't on my SB Acid CD. I emailed customer support and they sent me SB SF 7.0a. All's well that ends well...
