Subject:Acid freezes on "Building peaks" after recording

While recording vocals, Acid locks on "Building peaks." Any idea why it does this?

Could we have more info on your system? (Video card and soundcard especially.)

Try a number of troubleshooting steps, such as bringing your video card's acceleration down a notch or two (or even shut it off). Also be sure to have the latest driver updates.
