I have this new mixer,Tascam TM-D1000.
I has MMC on it and i have hooked it up thru my SB Audigy midi ins and outs.

Anyone ever used this Digital mixer to remote control acid?

So far i have been able to turn the volume up and down on one of my VST synths in acid. Thats it. Cant play stop or record.

The only thing you can do via MIDI in ACID Pro is work with assignable MIDI parameters (like in your VSTi).

Other functions such as play, stop, or record would require a programmable multimedia controller like the ones from Contour Design.

ACID does not support control through external devices.

...well, peter it should.

many of use use acid as our main DAW because of the ease of use in editing.

i've had my eye on those hardware contollers for sometime.

i'd hate to jump ship just to be able to mix a little better.

the mackie HUI is becoming the only universal standard with most interfaces supporting through emulation. acid should comply.

that tascam FW-1884 looks really tempting.

I'm afriad i must jump ship untill this is added, anyone have anysuggestions a prog that will allow remote control?
