Subject:VST FX Not showing After system Rebuild

I recently had a OS disaster with w98se. I was able to save most of the data on my drive but windows needed to be fully replaced. So after reinstalling Acid 4f , it is not recognizing all my fx pluggins. I have pointed the program to my vstplugins dir and it finds all the VSTi bot in the FX browser I'm not seeing all the FX that are suppost to be showing up. I've tried re-installing one of them thinking there must be other dll's in windows sys or something but to no avail. Any clues???

Did you do a complete format of your system? If you just reinstalled Windows 98SE without formatting, there could be junk left over from your last install.

Well I thin k I'm on the way now. I finaly descided to upgrade to W2k cuz I was able to find drivers I needed for my sond card. So I reformated the drive etc. and still had the same problem. Only DX plugins were showing up. Then I remembered I had to use a vst wrapper for my vst fx in acid. Fortunatly, it's been a while since my last os rebuild. anyway thanks for getting back and we'll see how this goes.
