Another stupid question for you. I have a particular audio track that I would like to clip a portion of it ex: 1:00 to 1:21 and save it is a seperate file to my computer. What is the easiest way to do this in Acid Pro 4.0? I am brand new at this and haven't the slightest clue. Thanks. |

1. set loop around that region (make sure you enable the loop tool) 2. click on tools - render to new track (ctrl+m) 3. MAKE SURE "RENDER LOOP REGION ONLY IS CHECKED!!! 4. name your track (obviously whatever you want) you have yourself a new track! |

oh, another thing, you might want to turn "SNAPPING" off (F8 toggles it on and off) if you need to loop around a segment that isnt in a perfect 1/4, 1/8, 1/16...so on and so forth...you have more intricate loop enabling with snapping OFF!! -marc |

Adding to what marc said, double-click the time display in the upper left of the ACID window. Enter your desired starting time and press I (that's the letter "I") on your keyboard. Double-click the time display again; enter your desired ending time. Press O (that's the letter "O") on your keyboard, then render as marc mentioned.
